Amazon Pay

I worked on scaling up Amazon Pay Coupons – an innovative way of rewarding targeted customers in the e-commerce space published across all digital platforms. I also worked on expanding Amazon India’s Amazon Here program to major brands across India. Amazon Here is India’s third-party version of Amazon Go, currently in its nascent stages.

Amazon’s Wireless Business

I built selection strategy for and managed new, high-scale multi-billion dollars worth additions to the wireless (smartphones) business of Amazon India. To achieve the same, I negotiated, won, designed & executed the GTM strategy, and owned lifecycle and P&L management of 20+ Amazon Exclusive smartphones by some of the biggest brands of the Industry (Here is one featured story where I launched a new global brand and what success!).

Amazon’s Smartphones Return Policy

I revamped the pan-India customer return process and policy of smartphones for Amazon by leading industry-first product developments and automation, thereby eliminating customer distrust and multi-million worth of financial wastes.

Amazon’s Selection Decision Framework

At Amazon we believe in expanding selection while continuously raising the bar on customer experience and trust despite being frugal. We achieve this by adopting a data-driven approach of highest standards. As the wireless category grew bigger and more competitive, I came up with a statistical model (linear programming based optimisation) to recommend investments and spends strategy for wireless (smartphones) category growth so that we provide the best of selection to the customers while sticking true to frugality.
